All of the steps you described above (very clear, thank you) worked but when I print on my windows 7 machine, I see the print job in the printer properties with Under Driver you can select the PS Class Driver for the printer if it is installed (If it is not installed you will have to go through the installation process from It wouldn't detect anything when the printer was connected to a network router via ethernet or airport express wirelessly.
